Responsibilities
Perform thorough audits of insurance policies, claims files, and underwriting processes to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards
Analyze and evaluate internal controls, identifying risks and recommending corrective measures
Document audit findings, prepare detailed audit reports, and present actionable recommendations to management
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external auditors when necessary
Stay updated with the latest developments in insurance regulations, policies, and auditing techniques
Must have requirements
Proven experience as an Insurance Auditor
Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims processing, and regulatory frameworks
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in audit methodologies and compliance standards relevant to the insurance industry
Attention to detail and a high level of integrity
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, insurance, or a related field
Nice to have requirements
Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CII
Experience with digital auditing tools or insurance-specific software
Background in risk assessment and mitigation
Familiarity with UAE insurance laws and regulations
Previous involvement in process improvement initiatives
